Last year when I was bed ridden with morning sickness, Thanksgiving dinner was the first meal I had in months that actually tasted good while I was eating it and didn't end up in the toilet. Because of that, this holiday will always be special. A time when my pregnancy started turning around. Even though for about 4 months after that I still felt sick most days, it wasn't every day, and that was a huge win.
This year we're up at Oregon with some family and enjoying a few days with Josh before school starts up again, so I'm going to take the rest of the week off, but I promise to return Monday with a new post. And before I go just one quick quote from my grandfather-in-law, (prefece: while we were watching the 50 Shades of Gray trailer) "I read that book and realized I didn't know anything!" Ohmygoodness I just about died. He's the best.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope your day is meaningful and special.
