|^^^ This is when you know it's time to invest in maternity pants. And yes, I'm using a hair tie to close my pants.|
How far along? 18 weeks 2 days
Baby's size: A sweet potato!
Total weight gain: I've gained back 12 of the pounds I lost so now I'm only -8 from my pre pregnancy weight.
Maternity clothes? I bought a pair of maternity jeans since NONE of my jeans fit anymore, heck, the stretchy pants pictured above barely fit. Now I'm just waiting until I get a job so I can start buying more maternity clothes.
Best moment this week: I felt the baby literally kick me for the first time. I've felt little flutters but baby gave me two swift jabs in my lower right side. Absolutely amazing.
Miss Anything? Having energy. I'm either tired or nauseous and I haven't felt myself in a looong time. I miss going to the gym and being able to walk around the grocery store without getting really dizzy.
Movement: Yep! Now I feel the baby a couple times a day, usually at night.
Food cravings: Mexican food, more particularly, cheesy/saucy enchiladas. Yum. I've also been loving pasta lately, and I still can't get enough kiwis.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Pork. Any type of pork makes me want to throw up.
Gender: We find out next week! That's right, January 22nd we'll know if this is a baby girl or boy (as long as he or she isn't feeling too shy).
Symptoms: Still getting bloody noses. Tired all the time, no energy whatsoever. And every couple days I feel super sick and can't get out of bed. Oh, and my skin feels tight and uncomfortable a lot. Guess I need to use my stretch mark lotion more generously.
Belly Button in or out? Still a very deep, bottomless pit. AKA "in".
Looking forward to: Figuring out where we'll be going to dental school, we'll be deciding that in the next couple weeks. Then we'll be able to begin looking for housing and jobs. I'm also SO excited for my next doctor apopintment. I have absolutely no idea what the gender is, I can see us having a boy or a girl. It'll be great finally knowing!
PS outfit details will be on tomorrow's post
