And the worst part, I still feel sick.
Luckily my teachers have been so nice and understanding so I'm not falling too far behind in my classes. But, the biggest bummer, I was sick on Halloween. One of my most favorite holidays! So sick that I didn't even go outside once. I worked from home for 4 hours (thank goodness for modern technology!), then wrote two papers, completed a massive project, took a nap, then watched some scary movies on TV. It was very uneventful. Although, we did have some good memories leading up to Halloween.
For example, our office hosted a fun Halloween party. It was cool seeing everyone's families all dressed up (holidays are way more fun with kids). One little girl was dressed up as a rainbow unicorn...doesn't get much cuter than that!
Any way. Josh and I went as a jailbird and jailhouse guard. As you can tell we take Halloween very seriously.
And we also went down to Utah for a dental school interview Josh had and all of his cousins (on his mom's side) were having a Halloween party. So Josh's sister Aubrey and I made these super delectable red velvet cake balls, and tried making them look like eyes. Which sort of worked...
Well. It was a valiant effort.
|Just getting into our characters.|
And the greatest update yet? Josh got an interview invite to the University of Washington (our first pick, woot woot!!)! We are beyond pumped.
Also. Welcome home to my beloved precious Madison Carver who just returned from her 18-month mission in Moscow, Russia last night! You're a total babe and I can't wait to talk to you!
PS. This picture of Josh and Wesley cuddling. Ohmygoodness. Pulls at my little heart strings. You two!
PPS. Stay tuned for a giveaway coming on Monday!
