Fall. Is the best season. Sweaters. Scarfs. Bulky socks. Leaves changing colors and crunching under your shoes. Caramel Apple Cider from Starbucks. Boots. Dark lipstick. Etc. Etc. I'm telling you, I'm all about it. (Except the vase amounts of pumpkin flavored things, yuck.) I mean, I know every blogger in the history of blogging gushes about Fall, but come on. Doesn't get much better than this.
where i got it: white shirt - thrifted // sweater - american eagle // boots - steve madden
The Good:+ Having nice teachers.I've been to school at BYU, BYU-Hawaii, and BYU-Idaho and I must say the teachers at BYU-I are by far the best. Today one of my teachers emailed me saying I hadn't turned in an assignment. (We were given two assignments that week, one was due at the end of the semester and the other was due that weekend.) Me, being an airhead, did the assignment that was due in December and didn't do the one I actually needed. She was so nice and still let me not only take the time to complete it, but turn it in for full credit. I mean, how many teachers contact you, asking if you want to turn in a late assignment for full credit? She's a saint. And I love my school.
+ My curling iron broke a while back, so my hair was constantly looking like poo. But I finally caved and bought a new one, "hello self confidence, haven't seen you in a while!"
The Bad+ Driving 30 minutes to the nearest Olive Garden on Friday night only to find that the wait was ridiculous. People were lined out the door just to put their names down. So, we ever so sadly drove back to the 'Burg and binged on Applebee's instead.
+ You know what I really dislike? When a sign-up sheet for class presentations starts on the opposite side of the room so you end up presenting on Friday. Everyone is cramping my procrastination.
The Funnies:+ Wendy & Wesley are now hardcore buddies. Not only do they spoon every free moment of the day, but they eat out of the same bowl at the same time, give each other baths and use the litter box together. (Mostly Wesley's doing, I think he has separation anxiety). Pretty much, wherever Wendy goes, Wesley follows. We're sure glad we adopted Wesley's sister, he's been so much happier having a buddy all day.
