white tee and defiant hair

Sometimes I straighten my hair, and I'm like, why did I do that? I look horrible with straight hair. So then I curl it, and it turns out this nasty rat nest of a mane. And I just say, "this shall just  be good enough." Then I run around town, scrunching my hair any chance I get, glance in a window and holy moly, good thing my husband loves me no matter what.

Speaking of... I have a funny story to share about hair... But first, an outfit of absolute comfiness.

---->

Where I got it:
Tee & belt-Target
Scarf-Vendor in Rome, probably my favorite ever.
Jeans-American Eagle
Shoes-Forver 21

Quirkiness ---->
-I cut Josh's hair. It looked phenomenal in my opinion, especially since it was only like my third hair cut I've ever given. Anyways, I guess it wasn't blended as much as he liked but I was afraid to cut it any shorter. He said it kind of looked like a bowl cut, I said you look better with longer hair, I'm not taking off any more.

Fast forward a couple days.

I come in the bathroom and Josh has the clippers and has BUZZED his entire head! I felt like a mother who just walked in on her child cutting their hair, and I was so sad. Don't get me wrong, he can rock it and all, but I prefer longer hair by far.

Also, I guess he mixed up the 6 and 8 so it was way shorter than he anticipated. And now he has a military haircut, which does make him look older, however, I still look like a baby. So that stinks. But as Josh says...you win some you lose some. And at least we learned to not leave him alone with the hair clippers again.

-That moment when the kid I nanny is napping, and everything's quiet and then I hear a massive ruckus. I check the kid to make sure he's not awake, because it was QUITE the battle getting him to sleep. Still out like a rock.

Then something starts growling and I have this confused,wide eyed look on my face, like what is that?! And out  of no where runs two tumbling kitties that are in an epic cat fight. Yeah, the place I nanny at has two cats-and they hate each other. Anyways, I just let me duke it out.

Awesomeness ---->
-I get to write an article that'll be published in my internship's magazine. How awesome is that?! My name will be published and it'll be the best dream come true.

-Shabby Apple is now a sponsor of my blog, holllllla! You can check them out to the right.... you know, right over there ---->

Anyways. I'm super stoked and you guys should browse around their site because everything they have is amazing. So just click on their ad, you shall not regret it. Well, your bank account might, but you won't!

Now I'm going to enjoy my Friday afternoon and watch a cheesy horror movie with my bald hubs on the Chiller channel. Happy weekend everyone!!!

  14. Congrats on getting published - that must be so exciting!

    I used to cut my boyfriend's hair but he was so particular about it, and I have no hair cutting experience that I now personally drive him to get his hair cut by a real person. Now I just need someone to figure out my hair for me!
