Wondering what to get your man for Valentine's Day? Running out of creativity, and time? Here is a small list of ideas I thought of and hopefully it'll spark some inspiration in someone who needs it!

1. My hubs is alllll about the easy slip on shoes, if I ever need a quick go to I'll buy him a pair. Even  though he has way more shoes than me, there's always still a style or color he doesn't have.

2. Make his favorite dessert or dinner. Josh loves fruity desserts and funeral potatoes. I might just have to surprise him with something special!

3. New phone case. Joshers just got a new iPhone and is in desperate need of a sturdy case that'll protect his phone from his bad luck with technology. Ex. Putting his phone on top of the car and driving off. Sigh.

4. New sweater. Hubster looks sooo good in pull over sweaters. And I don't think he could ever have enough. In fact, a nice burgundy one for Valentine's Day may just be the perfect gift.

Hope this was helpful,  and have a great Valentine's Day everyone!

  1. I love #2. I'm actually baking something for him and his coworkers for Vday :D

I'm having a giveaway on my blog if you're interested. :)

  2. What in the HECK are funeral potatoes?! Sounds completely depressing! LOL. I have no idea what to do for Brandon. Gotta brainstorm while he's at work tomorrow. I hope you and Josh have fun! <3

    1. Hahaha Brani, so funny you say that! Funeral potatoes is a total mormon food that is made at like every church event. Basically you cook some potatoes up, smash them on the bottom of the pan, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese and pour that over the potatoes, then mix together smashed cornflakes, more cheddar cheese, and butter and sprinkle that on top. Then you pop it in the oven. They are SO good! I should send you my recipe, super addicting.

Let me know what you and Brandon do! Hope you guys have a good night too.

    2. Aha--makes sense. Sorta. I still think they could have given it a better name, like "eat these to become diabetic potatoes" haha. They do sound really good, though! Send me your recipe please, ma'am. I'll have to replace the cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom or something though since I'm a vegetarian. Still sounds good!

And I think I'm gonna buy him a card (that's pretty cheap!) and make him dinner. I just don't know what to make since he eats meat and I don't. He's the cook around here.

  3. Popular Valentine’s Day symbols include flowers, cupid, arrows, love birds, the color red and hearts.Hearts symbolize of love, but it is also a symbol of life.Giving one’s heart to another person, so to speak, is the ultimate expression of love. You can find many valentines day gifts for him .
