Alas, finals week has come.
The week of doing no dishes (sorry husband), leaving clothes all over the place because seriously, who has time? And drinking lots and lots of Dr.Pepper. How could something that tastes like it came straight from the fountains of heaven be that bad for you? Little devil...
|When finals week comes...you just don't care much.|
|Josh and I like to get study rooms so we can have 2 minute dance parties and shake off the jiggles.|
I vow to start having more exciting fashion photos once this semester is over. This will include photos taken outside, possibly better poses (still haven't mastered the whole modeling thing yet), and better quality. But for now, in the library, in the middle of finals week, this shall just have to due. My condolences.
-Having three food parties in the past week. Two were for work, and I got paid for attending. So basically BYU-Idaho paid me to eat. Love it.
-Watching episodes of Lost and Revenge in between cram sessions.
-Having an absolutely glorious hair day (two days in a row) woot woot!!
-Trying to eat the rest of our food in the refrigerator equals creative and not so delicious combos. Luckily that hubs of mine will eat anything.
-I saw on Pinterest that putting sea salt on cookies can enhance the flavor. So I made some peanut butter blossom cookies and poured some of our huge, chunky sea salt on the round doughy balls. I'm pretty sure the pin on Pinterest had small, flakey grains. Didn't think much of it. I thought they'd just melt with the cookie or magically decrease in size with the heat...Okay, I guess I didn't think that one through.
Anyways, I pull out the first batch and give Josh a cookie. Watch as he tries it. He says it tastes good. I grab one for myself, and BAM it feel like I'm chewing on rocks.
Me:Holy cow, why didn't you tell me it's like chewing boulders?!
Josh: ...I didn't want to be the bearer of bad news!...They still taste good.
Me: :l (not amused face)
So then I spent way too much time picking off every single individual sea rock from those 2 dozen cookies I made. *Note to self, get something to grind up salt with*
