-One of the cats killed a bird in Josh's parents closest. Poor, poor Cathy looked a little traumatized... They have yet to find the body, there's just countless bird feathers all over the floor.
-Josh and I are finally finishing the thank you cards-TODAY! 5 months later...Joshers has a hard time with writing. I had completed three by the time he was half way done with one! I finally demoted him to only writing down the addresses and I'd write all of the cards. About 50 cards later I think I'm developing carpal tunnel syndrome.
-Also, about Josh. He decided to grow out a beard over break. He has a great neck beard and goatee going on, but the cheeks are a little lacking. So to be funny he shaved everything but his neck beard, saying it's a compromise! Now his face won't feel like sandpaper when I kiss him, yet he can still get it beard action on... It took me like 2 days to get him to shave it off. Woof.
-We acted out the Nativity scene, Josh and I were Mary and Joseph, and Josh's cat Spice was baby Jesus...
-Driving around on Christmas Eve to look at the lights. This one guy who owns a radio station that only plays Christmas music in December set up his lights so they go off to the beat of the songs.... AMAZING!
-Everyone in the family drew someone's name from a hat and went to Walmart on Christmas Eve to buy them a present for under $15. Such a fun tradition. I loved it!
-This year we never really got around to getting a Christmas tree so on Christmas morning before anyone woke up, Josh's brother and sister broke off a tree branch from outside and wrapped lights around it. So we had our very own Charlie Brown tree-it was perfect.
